Let's see an example.

A retail shop has a TXTNow™ form on their web site. Some of the customers who visit the retail web site sign up to receive TXT Messages from the retailer.

On a particularly slow day, the retail store owner logs into his TXTNow™ account and types in a message that says "20% off your entire purchase for anyone who comes into the store between 2pm and 4 pm today."

When the store owner hits send, that TXT message is sent instantly to the entire subscriber list. Those subscribers are privy to information that none of the store owners other customers have, and they see the value of remaining on the opt in TXT list.
